TERMS OF SERVICEBy commissioning me, you are agreeing to the terms listed on this page. Terms are subject to change at any time. Thank you for commissioning!

GENERAL INFORMATION
- You may purchase as a gift for others.
- You must be 18 or older to commission.
- Commissions can be made private on request. Unless stated so, the artist has permission to post the commission publicly.
- The artist has the right to decline a commission for any reason. The artist reserves the right to keep the reason private.
- The artist holds all rights to their work and the commissioner may not use their received art commercially without an additional licensing fee.PAYMENT INFORMATION
- The artist must be paid in full before starting the commission.
- Price may be raised based on character complexity or additions.
- Payment currency is in USD; Payment will be taken through PayPal only.
- Payment plans are available for extended animations only.SUBJECT INFORMATION GUIDELINES
- The artist can refuse any type of subject matter or commission request.
- NSFW imagery will not be drawn under the name Aspenshadow, though some suggestive material is allowed.
- The artist will draw gore. Heavy gore is allowed, but the artist might not post this publicly based on content.
- The artist will not draw hateful imagery. This includes but is not limited to: Nazi armbands and hate symbols, targeted harassment against any individual or group, and depictions of child/animal/etc abuse.REFUNDS
- If a commission has not been finished within three months, the commissioner is entitled to a full refund. Extended animations such as videos are exempt from this rule and a deadline will be discussed with the commissioner.
- If the artist cancels a commission for any reason (at any stage of the art), a full refund will be given to the commissioner.
- If the commission is cancelled before the art is started, the commissioner may receive a 90% refund. If canceled during the sketch stage, the commissioner is entitled to a 70% refund. If cancelled while still in linearting stage, the commissioner is entitled to a 50% refund. If the art has progressed past the linearting stage, the commissioner will not receive a refund and their art will be finished.PROCESS
- The artist will send a sketch for approval before finishing the artwork. If the commissioner wants any major changes such as pose or expression, they must be made during this time. (YCHs exempt)
- The commissioner must provide a clear reference of the character(s) to work off of.
- The commissioner cannot ask for major changes (such as the pose) after the commission is complete, however they can ask for minor edits such as marking changes. Animations are exempt from this rule unless a marking is missing or made incorrectly.
- The commissioner must tell the artist if they have a preferred pose, expression, etc. prior to the commission’s start. Otherwise, the artist will consider this artistic freedom.TIME OF COMPLETION
- Artist currently operates on no deadlines besides three months from the time the commission is made. A commissioner can state a preferred time of completion, however, and the artist may try to match the date as long as two weeks are given in advance. Extended animations such as videos are exempt from this rule.
- Update pictures of commissions are available upon request.
- The artist will complete commissions in the order they get them.PERMISSIONS/REPOSTING
- The commissioner will receive a unwatermarked png image, gif, or video file.
- The commissioner is free to repost the work after they have received it. The artwork may not be posted on primarily NSFW websites such as e621.
- The artist must be credited upon reposting.
- The artist holds all rights to their art. The commissioner may not use art in commercial use without an additional licensing fee.
- If the commission is intended to be private, tell the artist at the beginning of the commission. Otherwise, the artist assumes that the commission may be posted publicly.
- Art may not be used in the training of AI or resold/minted as an NFT.

ANIMATION WORKPrices are only approximate and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. These prices refer to one-time commissions. For extended employment, please contact me via email to work out an official contract and salary.
